
The SMPS Miranda module is small, lightweight, low power consumption and RoHS compliant devices that allow digital communication services wherever a CDMA/HSPA is present. The Miranda is a low cost connector-less best solution for medium to high quantity projects. The Miranda is provided with a 60 pins HRS/NAIS/Linktek board to board connector and a 50 Ohm Murata RF connector. The Miranda module includes features like Package Switched Data transfer, Phonebook and SMS support, embedded TCP/IP stack capabilities. Its Features and parameters are just same as Titan DataCard series. The Miranda is specifically designed and developed by SMPS for OEM usage and dedicated to portable data, and telemetric applications such as: Telemetry and Telecontrol (SCADA applications) Security systems Vending machines POS terminals PDAs and Mobile Computing Phones and Payphones Automotive and Fleet Management applications Battery powered applications needing a battery charger Return channel for digital broadcasting
The Miranda supports the following functionalities : EASY WCDMA/HSPA (AT driven embedded TCP/IP protocol stack) EASY SCAN (full WCDMA/HSPA frequency scanning)
From the interface point of view, the Miranda provides the following: USB2.0 for AT commands Fixed baud rate 115.2 Kbps Full RS232 UART, CMOS level (ASC0) interface for AT commands: Autobauding from 2.4 up to 19.2 Kbps Fixed baud rate up to 115.2 Kbps SIM card interface, 1.8 / 3 volts with auto-detection, hot insertion 1 x P-host ports 1 x I2C serial port 1 x JTAG port 1 x PCM output 1 x vibrator motor driver output 1 x single led supply output 1 x System reset input 2 x Interrupts input and output Note: Most of these pins can be used as GPIO if it isn¡¯t be used.
